Interview to ANDREAS MARSCHALL by Metal Music Clan (English version).

Today at Metal Music Clan we have the great honor of interviewing a first-rate artist such as Andreas Marschall, a great illustrator, writer and horror film director. 
Born in Germany in 1961, Andreas Marschall is a strong name in the world of Metal. Creator of hundreds of  covers for legendary bands like Blind Guardian, Running Wild, Grave Digger, Obituary, Dimmu Borgir, Sodom, Kreator and a long etc. Regarding his film career, Andreas Marschall is a film editor and director of Terror films such as "Tears of Kali", award-winning film at several film festivals.

1.Could you tell us a little about your beginnings as an illustrator.When, where and why does your adventure begin?

My parents both were teachers of art and part-time painters. I started my career as a comic book artist, painting graphic Horror and Thriller stories for european editions of Heavy Metal and others. But my style was  photo-realistic which was an extremely time-consuming process. It took me more than a week to finish one single page.  It was just impossible to  tell long stories, graphic novels, not only shorts, with this technique. I began to work as an illustrator at the end of the seventies, doing book covers and illustrations for editions of Edgar Allen Poe and others. When I went to Berlin in the "roaring eighties"  I came in touch with Karl Walterbach from Noise records who offered me to do some metal artwork. My agency Becker/Derouet  put me in contact with bands like RAGE, KREATOR , SODOM, RUNNING WILD, BLIND GUARDIAN and OBITUARY. Soon I was part of the scene, went to concerts and even started directing music videos for the same bands, sometimes bringing elements of my artworks to life (like in the clips for the Kreator Album „Coma of Souls“ were the story of the „stiched eyes“ is told) My talent was always divided between drawing and directing.

2.When your interest in the world of Metal music begins?

When I heard the double live album RAINBOW ON STAGE . This was Ritchie Blackmore´s project at it´s best, featuring great talents like Ronnie James Dio and Cozy Powell. I was totally blown away and started to listen to more classic Metal bands like Judas Priest.

And for the world of fantasy, epic, medieval and terror?

As a child I loved CONAN comics, EC-Horror comics and Monster films like „King Kong“ and „Tarantula“.  I am sure that it has something to do that my parents went with me an my sister to New York as teachers for one year in the early 60ies. I got in touch with comics, movies and many TV-channels - the whole American pop culture -when in Germany many people not even had refrigerators. In early school I got in trouble because I read comic books and painted monsters. Some teachers regarded me as a strange child.

3.Many of us have grown up in the Metal Music world in love with your covers and designs, on our t-shirts, records and posters. Please, could you name the bands and records that carry your illustrations, please?

I don´t have a list, but I here is a section of bands: Kreator, Sodom, Rage, Thunderhead, King Diamond, Obituary, Halloween, Blind Guardian, Orden Ogan, Immolation, Hammercult, Coveant, Dimmu Borgir,

4.As a film and television editor, as well as a director, you have done more than 60 video clips and short films.And in 2004 you debuted with the horror movie "Tears of Kali".
Could you talk a little about your career as a film director and give us a presentation of that film?

I always was a film-fanatic!  Music videos were my chance to do something on my own. The music video industry was a very important thing in the early nineties with the existence of MTV and VIVA Tv and bands got decent budgets for their videos. I shot some nice classics for bands like Sodom, Thunderhead and Kreator, which were shown on headbanger´s ball and other programs,
I switched over to feature films by editing the independent gangster movie „TRACK“, directed by Sammy Balkas. I continued editing major films like the 15 million prisoners of war-drama "As Far As My Feet Will Carry Me" and a Tv Series. Today my main job is directing , screenwriting and editing. Last year I did another editing job on the first slasher movie shot on Kuba: „Havana Darkness“. It will be released in 2019.

My directing debut was "Tears of Kali", which resulted out of my work in a Berlin drama school, REDUTA BERLIN .

When I started working with actors I came in touch with method acting classes and all this extreme self-experience techniques. They are very good if you are shy and need to train your voice and expression and become a free person. But since the twenties all these psychological methods were also used for manipulation and cruel psychiatrist experiments. There were extemist groups amongst the hippie and student movement who turned this stuff into pure manipulative madness, specially  some successors of Willhelm Reich in the USA of the seventies and eighties and certain fractions of the "Osho"community in Poona. Where people have the hybris to design the "new and better human", the doors are open for horror. And this theme was rarely used in the genre. It sort of became my trademark and is the background of the screenplay for my feature film debut Tears of Kali. It tells three different cruel psychological stories that happen to members of a fictitious group called TAYLOR ERICSSON GROUP. This film won many awards on film festivals. It has some of the most disturbing scenes I ever filmed. Not for everybody.

5.With the band Kreator you created the musical horror movie called "Hallucinative Comas".Please, tell us a bit about this work.

Mille Petrozza wanted to shoot something different from the usual band-performance videos that were done these days. He contacted Jörg Buttgereit, director of cult classsics like NECROMANTIK. The record company did not agree with Jörgs ideas, so he quit the project. But recently I had done the artworks for his films and did the set design of an early semi-short called HOT LOVE. So he recommended me to Mille. We both were much into Horror movies like HELLRAISER. I had painted the artwork for the new album COMA OF SOULS and we came up with the idea to tell the story of this poor guy with the eyes stitched together. This turned into the bloody clip TERRORZONE which was the flagship of a collection of clips that formed Halluzinative comas. Mille didn´t want the interview parts. He wasn´t happy with them interrupting the music- and story parts, but the record company insisted on them. PEOPLE OF THE LIE was pretty successful on MTV, but TERRORZONE was shown only once on MTV and then it was banned for it´s violence.

6.You have done also comics and book covers.What can you tell us about this?

My comic stories were published in magazines like METAL HURLING  (france) and EL VIBORA (spain). They were like painted films, but much too time consuming. I had to quit this direction of my career before it consumed all of my time. It was painful decision because I love comic books. I did also some book covers and book illustration in a very classic black and white style - amongst others, for an anthology of Edgar Allen Poe stories called DER RABE.

7.What is your favorite theme and inspirations when doing a job?

It always comes from the band. It may be their music or the band image or the album title. I combine this with my own inspirations taken from painters like Caspar David Friedrich, Arnold Böcklin and, of course Hieronymus Bosch.

8.Please, give us a opinnion about the next things:

J.R.R Tolkien:
A very powerful storyteller. I love his mythology and was drawn into it by Hansi from Blind Guardian. I never read the whole books, but I loved the films,not only the Peter Jackson Stuff but also the earlier animation version by Ralph Bakshi from 1978. Tolkien was huge inspiration for my fantasy paintings.

Mithology:
Mythology is very important for modern world to make people stay in touch with their spiritual roots. In our consumer society people get very self-centered and materialistic. The narratives of mythology and religion tell us that this is foolish.  The modern consumer will look miserable when death knocks on his door.

Nature:Wonderful. I love to ride through the woods on my bicycle.

9.Future plans?

Looks like I will direct more episodes in two new horror anthology movies. I am working on a classic horror screenplay which will be the remake of a famous Italien film of the sixties (but it´s not financed yet, so let´s cross fingers). I am working on three new artworks at the moment and plan to shoot more music videos.

Nacido en Alemania en 1961, Andreas Marschall es un nombre de peso en el mundo del Metal.Creador de cientos de  portadas para míticas bandas como Blind Guardian, Running Wild, Grave Digger, Obituary, Dimmu Borgir, Sodom, Kreator y un largo etc..
Respecto a su carrera cinematográfica, Andreas Marschall es editor de cine y director de peliculas de Terror como "Tears of Kali", película premiada en varios festivales de cine.

1. ¿Podrías contarnos un poco sobre tus inicios como ilustrador?¿Cuándo, dónde y por qué comienza tu aventura?

Mis padres eran maestros de arte y pintores a tiempo parcial. Comencé mi carrera como dibujante de cómics, pintando historias de horror y gráficos de suspense para ediciones europeas de "Heavy Metal", entre otras cosas.

Pero mi estilo era fotorrealista, que era un proceso extremadamente lento. Me llevó más de una semana terminar una sola página.
Era simplemente imposible contar historias largas, novelas gráficas, no solo cortos, con esta técnica. Comencé a trabajar como ilustrador a finales de los años setenta, haciendo portadas de libros e ilustraciones para  ediciones de Edgar Allen Poe entre otros. Cuando fui a Berlín en los "rugientes" años ochenta, entré en contacto con Karl Walterbach de Noise Records, quien me ofreció hacer algunas ilustraciones de Metal.

Mi agencia Becker / Derouet me puso en contacto con bandas como RAGE, KREATOR, SODOM, RUNNING WILD, BLIND GUARDIAN y OBITUARY. Pronto formé parte de la escena, fui a conciertos e incluso comencé a dirigir vídeos musicales para las mismas bandas, a veces dando vida a elementos de mis propias obras de arte (como en los clips para el álbum de Kreator "Coma of Souls" donde se cuenta la historia de "ojos cosidos") Mi talento siempre se dividió entre dibujar y dirigir.

2. ¿Cuándo comienza tu interés por el mundo de la música Metal?

Cuando escuché el álbum doble en directo RAINBOW "On Stage" . Este fué el mejor proyecto de Ritchie Blackmore, con grandes talentos como Ronnie James Dio y Cozy Powell. Me quedé totalmente impresionado y comencé a escuchar bandas de Metal más clásicas como Judas Priest.

¿Y respecto al mundo de la fantasía, épico, medieval y terror?

De niño me encantaban los cómics de CONAN, los cómics de EC-Horror y las películas de Monster como "King Kong" y "Tarántula". Estoy seguro de que tiene algo que ver que mis padres y mi hermana me acompañaron como maestras a Nueva York, durante un año, a principios de los sesenta.
Me puse en contacto con los cómics, películas y muchos canales de televisión, toda la cultura Pop estadounidense, cuando en Alemania muchas personas ni siquiera tenían refrigeradores. Al principio de la escuela me metí en problemas porque leía cómics y pintaba monstruos. Algunos maestros me consideraban un niño extraño.

3.Muchos de nosotros hemos crecido en el mundo de Metal Music enamorado de tus portadas y diseños, en nuestras camisetas, discos y carteles. Por favor, ¿podrías nombrar las bandas y discos que llevan tus ilustraciones?

No tengo una lista, pero aquí va una selección de bandas: Kreator, Sodom, Rage, Thunderhead, King Diamond, Obituary, Helloween, Blind Guardian, Orden Ogan, Immolation, Hammercult, Coveant, Dimmu Borgir.

4. Como editor de cine y televisión, además de director, ha realizado más de 60 videoclips y cortometrajes.Y en 2004 debutaste con la película de terror "Tears of Kali".
¿Podrías hablar un poco sobre tu carrera como director de cine y darnos una presentación de esa película?

¡Siempre fui un fanático del cine! Los videos musicales fueron mi oportunidad de hacer algo por mi cuenta. La industria del video musical fue algo muy importante a principios de los años noventa con la existencia de MTV y VIVA Tv y las bandas obtuvieron presupuestos decentes para sus videos. Grabé algunos clásicos buenos para bandas como Sodom, Thunderhead y Kreator, que aparecieron en programas como "Headbanger ball " entre otros.

Cambié a las películas de largometraje al editar la película independiente de gánsters "TRACK", dirigida por Sammy Balkas. Continué editando películas importantes como el drama bélico con 15 millones de prisioneros "Hasta donde mis pies me lleven" y algunas series de televisión. Hoy mi trabajo principal es dirigir, escribir guiones y editar. El año pasado hice otro trabajo de edición en la primera película de Slasher filmada en Cuba: "Havana Darkness". Será lanzada en 2019.

Mi debut como director fue "Tears of Kali"( Lágrimas de Kali), resultado de mi trabajo en una escuela de teatro de Berlín, REDUTA BERLIN.

Cuando comencé a trabajar con actores entré en contacto con las clases de actuación, métodos y todas estas técnicas extremas de auto experiencia. Son muy buenas si eres tímido y necesitas entrenar tu voz y expresión para convertirte en una persona libre.

Pero a partir de los años veinte, todos estos métodos psicológicos también se utilizaron para la manipulación y los experimentos crueles de algunos psiquiatras.

Hubo grupos extremistas, entre el movimiento hippie y estudiantil, que convirtieron estas cosas en una pura locura manipuladora, especialmente entre algunos sucesores de Willhelm Reich en los EE. UU de los años setenta y ochenta y ciertas fracciones de la comunidad "Osho" en Poona, donde las personas tienen la idea de diseñar el "nuevo y mejor humano", las puertas están abiertas para el horror. Y este tema fue extrañamente utilizado en el género. Se convirtió en mi marca registrada y es el fondo del guión de mi primer largometraje "Tears of Kali". Cuenta tres historias diferentes, crueles y psicológicas, que les ocurren a miembros de un grupo ficticio llamado TAYLOR ERICSSON GROUP. Esta película ganó muchos premios en festivales de cine. Tiene algunas de las escenas más perturbadoras que he filmado. No aptas para todos.

5.Con la banda Kreator creaste la película de terror musical llamada "Hallucinative Comas". Por favor, cuéntanos un poco sobre este trabajo.

Mille Petrozza, quería grabar algo diferente de los videos habituales de la banda en estudio que se hacían esos días. Se contactó con Jörg Buttgereit, director de clásicos de culto como NECROMANTIK. La compañía discográfica no estuvo de acuerdo con las ideas de Jörgs, así que abandonó el proyecto.
Pero recientemente había hecho trabajos artísticos para sus películas e hice el diseño de un semi corto corto llamado HOT LOVE. Así que me recomendó a Mille. Ambos nos gustaban mucho las películas de terror como HELLRAISER. Hice el trabajo  artístico para el nuevo álbum COMA OF SOULS y se nos ocurrió la idea de contar la historia de este pobre chico con los ojos cosidos. Esto se convirtió en el clip sangriento TERRORZONE, que era el buque insignia de una colección de clips que formaron "Halluzinative Comas". Mille no quería las partes de la entrevista. No estaba contento con que ellos interrumpieran las partes de la música y la historia, pero la compañía discográfica insistió en ello. PEOPLE OF THE LIE tuvo bastante éxito en MTV, pero TERRORZONE se mostró solo una vez en MTV y luego se prohibió por su violencia.

6.Has realizado también cómics y portadas de libros. ¿Qué puedes decirnos sobre esto?

Mis historias de cómics se publicaron en revistas como METAL HURLING (Francia) y EL VÍBORA (España). Eran como películas dibujadas, pero consumían demasiado tiempo.
Tuve que abandonar esta dirección de mi carrera antes de que consumiera todo mi tiempo. Fue una decisión dolorosa porque me encantan los cómics. También hice algunas portadas e ilustraciones de libros en un estilo muy clásico, en blanco y negro, entre otras cosas, para una antología de historias de Edgar Allen Poe llamada DER RABE.

7. ¿Cuál es tu tema de inspiración favorito al hacer un trabajo?

Siempre me viene de las bandas. Puede ser su música o la imagen de la banda o el título del álbum. Combino esto con mis propias inspiraciones tomadas de pintores como Caspar David Friedrich, Arnold Böcklin y, por supuesto, Hieronymus Bosch.

8. Por favor, dános una opinión sobre las siguientes cosas:

J. R. R. Tolkien:
Un narrador muy poderoso. Me encanta su mitología y Hansi de Blind Guardian me inspiró en ella. Nunca leí los libros completos, pero me encantaron las películas, no solo las Peter Jackson, sino también la versión de animación anterior de Ralph Bakshi de 1978. Tolkien fue una gran inspiración para mis pinturas de fantasía.


Mitología:
La mitología es muy importante para que el mundo moderno haga que las personas se mantengan en contacto con sus raíces espirituales. En nuestra sociedad de consumo las personas se vuelven muy egocéntricas y materialistas. Las narraciones de la mitología y la religión nos dicen que todo esto es una tontería. El consumidor moderno se verá miserable cuando la muerte llame a su puerta.

Naturaleza:
Maravilloso. Me encanta pasear por el bosque en mi bicicleta.

9. ¿Planes futuros?

Parece que dirigiré más episodios para  la antología de dos nuevas películas de terror. Estoy trabajando en un guión clásico de terror que será el remake de una famosa película italiana de los años sesenta (pero aún no está financiada, así que vamos a cruzar los dedos). Estoy trabajando en tres nuevas obras artísticas en este momento y planeo grabar más videos musicales.

INTERVIEW TO HAMMER KING (Germany) by METAL MUSIC CLAN (English version)

We started the new year with an interview with a great  band like Hammer King,  classic Heavy Metal and epic lyrics from Germany.

Hammer King was born in 1978 and after a long stop, they offer us three albums full of strength and battle spirit. It is an honor for Metal Music Clan to present Hammer King.


1.Hello Brothers. Could you give us a brief history of the band? When and why start HAMMER KING?

Titan: Hail to thee, Metal Music Clan! It's a pleasure talking to you. The band was founded by thy majesty, the Hammer King, in 1978. And he put the band on hiatus rightaway until the right moment would come to raise the Hammer of Metal. The right moment was 2015, when we released our first ever album "Kingdom Of The Hammer King". Since then we have released two further albums and we have played many shows. Just warming up 😃

2.Which is the current line-up of the band? Could you do a brief presentation of the members?

Titan: Of course, the King's chosen few are K.K. Basement on the bass, then from Scotland we have the keeper of the whiskey grail, Dolph Aidan Macallan on drums, and from Kleveland, Norway, the most timeless lead guitarist in this and all possible other worlds, Mr. Gino Wilde. I am Titan Fox on vocals and guitar.

3.Which records do you have released until now? Tell us a bit about your editions.

Titan: Our debut "Kingdom Of The Hammer King" was released in May 2015. The second album, "King Is Rising" came out in November 2016 and now, in October 2018, "Poseidon Will Carry Us Home" came out. While the first one told the tales about the Kingdom, the second album covered the King's war stories. Our new album has a maritime touch to it, focussing on the King sailing the infamous ancient Cape Horn route. Centre-piece of the new album is the "Nautical Trilogy", consisting of "Poseidon Will Carry Us Home", "At The Mercy Of The Waves" and "We Sail Cape Horn".

4.Which are your favourite bands ever and which are your music influences?

Titan: We have been infected, contaminated and dominated by the history of classic Heavy Metal. It is in our blood and hearts. And we are here to continue the history of Heavy Metal and live on its legacy.

5.Tell us a bit about your gigs. Any good, bad, or funny remember to any of your gigs?

Titan: Only good memories, never a bad one. Being on stage is the lifeblood of being a Heavy Metal band. From the moment the hammer is dropped in the middle of the stage until the final bow - everything is amazing. The smoke, the lights, the loudness - there is nothing greater than to celebrate the Hammer King's music with our fans! So the fans singing along is the best moment of all.

6.Please.Could you give us a brief explanation about the next lyrics of HAMMER KING ?:

Titan: That is one question I have been waiting to answer, here we go!

1.Poseidon Will Carry Us Home:The get-go of the album and also part 1 of the "Nautical Trilogy" is setting the mood for the maritime direction of the album. It takes you aboard the Poseidon, the flag ship of the Hammer King.

2. The King Is A Deadly Machine: The first video single - a song about one of the King's messengers. A real hero from the 80's, a lonesome ranger with no name. Everybody knows him real well though :)

3. Battle Of Wars: This song is the link between the Hammer King's war stories of the second album and the nautical tales of "Poseidon Will Carry Us Home". Lyrically it takes you from the battle fields to the harbor, where the flag ship of the King is anchoring.

4. 7 Days And 7 Kings:This is the Hammer King's Round Table - seven kings sitting around the table with the Hammer King being the most powerful of all. This song contains Gino's solo.

5. Warriors Of Angelhill: A song about the unity that the Heavy Metal community is worldwide. Especially dedicated to our dear friends, the Angelhill Warriors.

6. Where The Hammer Hangs: Pure domination, shear power. Don't stand in our way, we will never give in. We will show you where the Hammer hangs!

7. Last Rites: Lyrically, this is the purest statement. The message can't be bigger: Hammer King.

8. Glorious Night Of Glory: A celebratory anthem. Whether you return home from a victorious battle or from a dangerous sailing route - when you are back home it is a not night of glory. And when we are with our fans, it is even more: It is a Glorious Night Of Glory!

9. Locust Plague: In November 2016 we played the Burn This Town Festival in Rome alongside Sacred Steel and Rosae Crucis. This song is about our weekend in Rome, meeting friends, making new friends, experiencing the italian Metal community and seeing the historical places of Rome. Topped by a biblical feast on the first evening. Unforgettable.

10. At The Mercy Of The Waves: The second part of the "Nautical Trilogy", also our lyric video. One of our absolute favourite songs so far. Moody, epic, strong - not the obvious hit, but a deep and capturing song: Raise sails! Tide high!

11. We Sail Cape Horn: Part 3 of the trilogy and the closer of the album. One of the longest tracks we have created so far. I am very proud of the counter part vocals and the hautung melodies - and I am equally proud to admit that Gino's slide solo here is my favourite solo on the new album.

Titan: Our website is hammer-king.com where we also have a very good. You can everything there from CD to vinyl to T-Shirts and so on. Shipping is worldwide and very quick.


8.Please, give us a opinnion about the next Words:

Titan:
Mythology: As long as the King is in it, I love it!

Beer: Don't like it.

Nature: The source of all, unmatched - always many steps ahead of mankind. Wake up everyone, protect nature without compromise!

Tattoos: They look great if well done. As Ross The Boss once said: "all singers are pussies", therefore I have none :)

Metal music: Metal is music and music is life. Plain and simple.

9.Future plans for HAMMER KING?

Titan: We will kick off the new year 2019 with the first show on Saturday, January 5th, so there is no break for us. Basically, we have two plans for 2019: Play as many shows as possible, there will be shows in Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Germany. We will share the stage with Saxon and Doro and Grave Digger among others. Very much looking forward to that! The other gaol is to start working on the King's new songs very soon as we want to enter Studio Greywolf in January or February 2020. So this will be a damn great year for us!

Empezamos el año nuevo con entrevista a una pedazo de banda como Hammer King, formación alemana de Heavy Metal clásico y letras épicas.
Hammer King nació en el año 1978 y tras un largo parón, nos ofrecen tres álbumes cargados de fuerza y espíritu de batalla.Es un honor para Metal Music Clan presentar a Hammer King.


1.Saludos, hermanos. ¿Podeis darnos una breve historia de la banda? ¿Cuándo y por qué empieza HAMMER KING?

Titán: Saludos, Metal Music Clan! Es un placer hablar con vosotros. La banda fue fundada por su propia majestad, el Rey martillo, en 1978. Y la banda estuvo en pausa hasta que llegó el momento adecuado para levantar el martillo del Metal. El momento correcto fue en 2015, cuando lanzamos nuestro primer álbum "Kingdom Of The Hammer King". Desde entonces hemos lanzado dos álbumes más y hemos tocado en muchos directos. Vamos calentando 😃

2. ¿Cuál es la formación actual de la banda? ¿Podrías hacer una breve presentación de los miembros?

Titán: Por supuesto, los pocos elegidos por el Rey son: K.K. Basement al bajo, luego desde Escocia tenemos al guardián del Grial de Whisky, Dolph Aidan Macallan en la batería, y de Kleveland, Noruega, el guitarrista más atemporal en este y en todos los
otros mundos posibles, el Sr. Gino Wilde. Yo soy Titan Fox, a la voz y la guitarra.

3. ¿Qué discos teneís editados hasta ahora? Cuéntanos un poco acerca de vuestras ediciones.

Titan: Nuestro debut "Kingdom Of The Hammer King" se lanzó en Mayo de 2015. El segundo álbum, "King Is Rising" salió en Noviembre de 2016 y ahora, en Octubre de 2018, vió la luz "Poseidon Will Carry Us Home". Mientras que el primero contaba historias sobre el Reino, el segundo álbum abarcaba las historias de guerra del Rey. Nuestro nuevo álbum tiene un toque marítimo, centrado en el Rey que navega por la famosa ruta del antiguo Cabo de Hornos. La pieza central del nuevo álbum es la "Trilogía náutica", que consiste en Poseidon Will Carry Us Home (Poseidón nos llevará a casa), At The Mercy Of The Waves (Amerced de las olas) y We Sail Cape Horn (Navegamos el Cabo de Hornos).

4. ¿Cuáles son vuestras bandas favoritas e influencias musicales?

Titán: Hemos estado infectados, contaminados y dominados por la historia del Heavy Metal clásico. Está en nuestra sangre y en nuestros corazones. Y estamos aquí para continuar la historia del Heavy Metal y vivir su legado.

5. Cuéntanos un poco sobre vuestros conciertos. ¿Algun recuerdo bueno, malo o divertido de vuestros conciertos?

Titán: Sólo hay buenos recuerdos, nunca uno malo. Estar en el escenario es el alma de una banda Heavy Metal. Desde el momento en que se deja caer el martillo en el medio del escenario hasta la última reverencia, todo es increíble. El humo, las luces,
el ruido, ¡no hay nada mejor que celebrar la música de Hammer King con nuestros fans! Así que los fans cantando es el mejor momento de todos.

6.Por favor. ¿Podrías darnos una breve explicación sobre la próximas letras de HAMMER KING?

Titán: Esa es una pregunta que he estado esperando para responder, ¡aquí vamos!

1.Poseidon Will Carry Us Home (Poseidón nos llevará a casa): La puesta en marcha del álbum y también la parte primera de la "Trilogía náutica" que va creando el ambiente para darle su dirección marítima al álbum. Te lleva a bordo del Poseidón , la nave que lleva la bandera la bandera del Rey Martillo.

2. The King Is A Deadly Machine (El Rey es una máquina mortal): El primer video individual: una canción sobre uno de los mensajeros del Rey. Un verdadero héroe de los 80, un guardabosques solitario y sin nombre. Aunque todo el mundo lo conoce muy bien :)

3.Battle of Wars (Batalla de guerras): Esta canción es un enlace entre las historias bélicas del Rey martillo, del segundo álbum, y los cuentos náuticos de "Poseidón nos llevará a casa". Líricamente, te lleva desde los campos de batalla hasta el puerto, donde está anclado el buque insignia del Rey.

4.7 Days And 7 Kings (7 días y 7 reyes): Esta es la Mesa Redonda del Rey Martillo, siete reyes sentados alrededor de la mesa y el Rey Martillo es el más poderoso de todos. Esta canción contiene el solo de Gino.

5. Warriors of Angelhill (Guerreros de Angelhill): Una canción sobre la unidad mundial de la comunidad Heavy Metal . Especialmente dedicado a nuestros queridos amigos, los Guerreros de Angelhill.

6.Where The Hammer Hangs ( Donde cuelga el martillo): Dominación pura, poder tajante. No se interponga en nuestro camino, nunca nos rendiremos. ¡Le mostraremos dónde cuelga el Martillo!

7.Last Rites ( Últimos ritos): Líricamente, esta es la declaración más pura. El mensaje no puede ser más grande: Hammer King.

8.Glorious Night Of Glory (Gloriosa noche de gloria): Un himno de celebración. Ya sea que regreses a casa de una batalla victoriosa o de una peligrosa ruta de navegación, el regreso a casa no es una noche sin gloria. Y cuando estamos con nuestros fanáticos, es aún más: ¡Es una Gloriosa Noche de Gloria!

9.Locust Plage (Plaga de langostas): En Noviembre de 2016 tocamos en el festival "Burn This Town" en Roma junto a Sacred Steel y Rosae Crucis. Esta canción trata sobre nuestro fin de semana en Roma, conociendo amigos, haciendo nuevas amistades, experimentando la comunidad italiana del Metal y conociendo los lugares históricos de Roma. Rematado por una fiesta de proporciones bíblicas en la primera noche. Inolvidable.

10.At The Mercy Of The Waves (A merced de las olas): La segunda parte de la "Trilogía náutica", también nuestro video con lírica. Una de nuestras canciones absolutamente favoritas hasta ahora. Temperamental, épica, fuerte, no es el golpe definitivo, pero si una canción profunda y cautivadora: ¡ Velas creciendo!¡Marea alta!

11.We Sail Cape Horn (Navegamos en Cabo de Hornos): Parte 3 de la trilogía y el que más se asemeja al álbum. Una de las pistas más largas que hemos creado hasta ahora. Estoy muy orgulloso de las voces de contrapartida y las melodías inquietantes, y estoy igualmente orgulloso de admitir que el solo de Gino aquí es mi favorito del álbum.

Titán:

Mitología: ¡Mientras el Rey esté en ella, me encanta!

Cerveza: No me gusta.

Naturaleza: la fuente de todo, incomparable: siempre hay muchos pasos por delante de la humanidad. ¡Despertad  todos, proteged la naturaleza sin compromiso!

Tatuajes: Quedan muy bien si están bien hechos. Como dijo una vez Ross The Boss: "todos los cantantes son coños", por lo tanto no tengo ninguno 😃

Música metal: El Metal es música y la música es vida. Simple y llanamente.

9. ¿Planes futuros para Hammer King?

Titán: Comenzaremos el nuevo año 2019 con un directo, el Sábado 5 de enero, para que no tengamos descanso. Básicamente, tenemos dos planes para 2019: Dar tantos directos como sea posible. Habrá conciertos en Austria, Bélgica, Suiza, los Países Bajos y Alemania. Compartiremos el escenario con Saxon, Doro y Grave Digger entre otros. Estoy muy ansioso por esto!. Por otra parte comenzar a trabajar en las nuevas canciones de King muy pronto, ya que queremos ingresar en el Studio Greywolf para Enero o Febrero de 2020. ¡Así que este será un gran año para nosotros!
