INTERVIEW TO BLACKSMITH LEGACY (Sweden) by METAL MUSIC CLAN-
It´s an honor for Metal Music Clan to present this great Heavy Metal band from southern Sweden.
Blacksmith Legacy is a band influenced by Judas Priest, Accept , etc..

1.Hello Brothers. Could you give us a brief history of the band?,When and why start BLACKSMITH LEGACY?
The band were formed in 2009 by father and son Torgil and Martin Sturesson. Torgil thought Martin were too good at playing the guitar and wanted him to be seen so he requested that they'd start a band. Torgils intentions was to start up the band and then quit, but Blacksmith Legacy grew to be more than just a project.
2.Which is the current line-up of the band? Could you do a brief presentation of the members?
Vocals- Mike Noberg
Drums- Torgil Sturesson
Guitars- Martin Sturesson
Guitars- Claes Karlsson
Bass- Gustav Bronelius
Mike- Former bassplayer of the band (Blacksmith Legacy). Left the bass when our former singer Otto passed away. Also singer in a Judas Priest-tributeband called Just As Priest.
Torgil- Founder of Blacksmith Legacy. Played drums in a local band called Daydream in the 80s.
Martin- Co founder of Blacksmith Legacy, played the guitar for almost 16 years.Played in a couple of bands with friends before Blacksmith was formed.
Claes- Played in various Rock n' roll bands before he joined the band in 2014.
Gustav- The most recent member of the band, also active in a 70s progressive style band called Blåval.
3.Which records do you have released until now? Tell us a bit about your editions.
LP- Let The Game Begin 2013
EP- Metal Never Dies 2015
Single- Time To Say Goodbye 2018
Let The Game Begin: The first album that we made. The album may speak for itself.
Metal Never Dies: We had 4 really good songs and we didn't want to wait to record them.
Time To Say Goodbye: A tribute to our friend and singer Otto that sadly passed away during christmas 2017 only 44 years old.
4.Which are your favourite bands ever and which are your music influences?
New wave of British Heavy Metal with a little German Power Metal.
5.Tell us a bit about your gigs. Any good, bad, or funny remember to any of your gigs?
We've played a lot through the years. One of the most fun were probably the one we did with Amaranthe in 2013. And the one at Rock It festival in Ängelholm in 2017. We've met and made some great friends through the years such as Helix, Bonfire and David Reece (ex Accept singer)
6.Please.Could you give us a brief explanation about the next lyrics of BLACKSMITH LEGACY?:
Let the game begin: The idea came from the Saw-movies
Dance in the fire: A song about enviremental destruction.
A vikings story: Just a song about vikings sung from the vikings perspective.
Good times: a really good party-song
We are one: An anthem about that we're strong together
Internal flame: A little help to sometimes find your inner strength
Power of machines: A plain song about powerful machines
Mindbender: a song about how your brain can fuck up yourself
Children of our time: a song about breaking free from authorities.
Creature time: a pure nightmare
Time to say goodbye: A tribute to our friend

8.Please, give us a opinnion about the next Words:
-Mythology: Really interesting wether it is Greek, Roman or Nordic etc.

9.Future plans for BLACKSMITH LEGACY?
We're planning to record a new album. Dates of completion are not set.
